On the air nearly 10 years the 80's Time Warp celebrates the decade of Reganomics, the Rubik's Cube, and the Walkman. It returns listeners back to when the US invaded Grenada, the Miracle on Ice at Lake Placid, the Exxon Valdez oil spill, and the rescue of Baby Jessica. Together, we remember when Patrick Swayze went Dirty Dancing, Tom Cruise was a Top Gun and the question we all wanted to know was WHO SHOT JR?
Musically, it saw the rise of Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Bruce Springsteen, the Culture Club, and so many more thanks to the growing popularity of a new cable channel called MTV.
